BEHIND THE SCARS

‘Behind the Scars’ is a project which explores the stories behind how Chinese treasures in the British Museum. These Chinese artifacts have been destroyed and transported around the world for various political and economic reasons. Printmaking was used as a means to communicate the treatment of theses artifacts both conceptually and physically. ‘Behind the Scars’ reveals the cultural appropriation of these artifacts and the stories that lie behind them.
